I bought this bed for my camp because of the underbed drawers. It came well packaged and there was no damage to the contents. I unpacked the pieces and hardware packs and laid them out on the floor. I read the instructions. The fasteners were a new kind to me but they worked well. It took me a minute to figure out how they worked. Assembly went smoothly once I got used to the numbering system of the parts and how the parts went together. The bed is sturdy and looks nice. I also ordered the headboard. Assembly of the headboard is similar. I was very satisfied with this bed. I weigh 250 pounds and the bed had no issues with support. I ordered a second bed and it took me about half the time to assemble it. The drawers are sturdy and operate without any problems. I see where some folks have problems assembling this bed. The instructions make you think. You have a satisfied customer here.

Its a great bed, the shipping was right on time and assembly was not hard at all. My son loves the bed and his mother loves the storage space. Overall we are happy with the purchase. Also matched the existing furniture to a T!

We purchased this bed for our 3 1/2 year old son. I liked the concept of having extra storage. (We also purchased the headboard). We LOVED the free shipping-other websites charged extra to have your purchase delivered to your door! This was a great deal. The bed was a fairly heavy box-for those that may be putting this together on their own. It took my husband and I about 2 hours to put it together. The drawers took the longest; once those are completed the rest takes about 20-30 minutes. The directions were great-the pieces were marked wonderfully. There was one slight scratch on the headboard, but other than that no pieces were broken. I can see how that could happen and I guess that would occur with the delivery carrier. I would recommend this bed. It appears to be sturdy. We did not attach the headboard, so we could move the bed if we wanted to; the option is there if you wanted to. For the money and the product it's a great bed for the age group and to use for growing into for a few years. Oh, the directions do not call for a drill, we used one in some places to make the process go faster, do this carefully to not crack any of the wood with too much pressure!
