I love my Brita filter. Of course, like everyone else I'm not thrilled about how much it ultimately costs when I have to pay for refills (like how much this will add up to in brita expenses by the end of the year), but I live in Los Angeles people. So if you're a desert inhabitor like myself then a brita filter is pretty much a necessity. Only thing about this model that I have to point out is that it is just big enough for someone single or even a couple, but definitely get a bigger one for a family or 4+. Brought this for a picnic one day and it was emptied out very quickly.

There's not much for me to say, honestly. This Brita filter/pitcher works great... I think. I mean, the water is perfectly clear and it tastes great, but how would I know whether it filters our micro-particles. I'm not testing it or anything...

Easy to clean, easy to fill, easy to hold/pour... everything seems perfect. But I'm not a microbiologist with a lab, so I can't say whether it truly "filters" anything.

The lid, omg, it just fell off as I was pouring a glass. And, wait, there's more to this ...the well along with the filter too! I was just glad that the whole thing did not break. Now for the good stuff...Love the shape. Fits nicely in small spaces in refrigerator and on counter top. It's nice not having to lug home gallons of water from the supermarket. I absolutely will not drink faucet water, so I'm trying to get used to drinking filtered faucet water. Don't know why sometimes the taste isn't always that great. Still has some hint of faucet water. That's when I get turned off by this whole pitcher thing and want to go back to bottled water. But I'm saving lots of money that I can use for other expenses. Yes, I like the savings advantage.

This is a very good product especially for the price. The Illy pods produce a better espresso but the Baronet pods are pretty darn close to Illy and they cost quite a bit less. If you are making a cappuccino or a latte then the difference is negligible. Those who are upset because they bought the wrong pod for their coffee maker, should blame themselves and not the coffee! This product is getting a lower review than it should because a number of people are giving it a low review simply because they didn't pay attention to what the product was. These are ESE pods which work with ESE machines and not other pod machines.

Ok so my cat loves the flavor will eat them like they are going out of style. HOWEVER these treats are very small and when you have a 17lb large cat he doesn't have to chew them... he just swallows them whole. Therefore they aren't working on the teeth. Fun treat but not going to work for his breath. Will have to find something else.

I found Yunnan Baiyao to be excellent for the care of a dog with adeno carcinoma. I used Yunnan on the advice of a veterinarian, to control nasal bleeding, which it did very well, and I also think that use of the product prolonged the dog's life in that the cancer seemed to progress more slowly than anticipated.

The tv tuner works fairly well but the software is total junk. I wouldn't buy this thing again for $10 if I had to use the same software. The recordings look horrible and the program is really glitchy. It takes forever to load and sometimes records with no sound. Don't but this.

the antenna, the overall signal processing of the unit, and my laptop
power were inadequate. Next I tried on my desktop which had much faster
CPU and USB 2.0 and etc. Still, I did not get a good reception. My regular
TV with the indoor antenna worked ten times better. My suggestion is

About this product


The Pacific Salt is made of H1 steel, a PH steel, meaning it is a precipitation hardened steel. The blade has the trademark SpyderEdge. All internal steel parts are treated as well making them impervious to rust and pitting and salt. The blade's hole is enlarged to 14mm for easier opening/closing with gloved, wet or cold hands. It's black FRN handle is textured in checkerboard pattern. The lanyard hole offers a method of attachment.

I use these for work. I am a commercial diver in the Gulf of Mexico. I have yet to see one of the rust up. The hard steel keeps an edge. Knife is good for just about any situation you can imagine.

This is a terrific knife. I work with large, up to 5" diameter synthetic hawsers ("rope" to you landlubbers) and wanted something to carry in case I ever had to saw through one. At the same time, I wanted something manageable in size for everyday carry, that was flexible in its uses, was light, and rustproof. Thats the Pacific Salt to a "T". The aggressive serrations will cut through anything with ease, and at the same time, I like the point and little bit of straight blade at the end for the everyday mundane tasks like cutting boxes or something. I havent quite tested it with salt water directly, but in the offshore environment at least, it has failed to rust.

This knife is light and thin, and I forget its in my pocket. It is large, but one handed opening comes easy with a little practice. Someone mentioned the opening circle being a little rough, mine was too, but easily filed it down to a nice touch. My only caveat is that I switched from a CRKT Crawford Kasper that I've used for the past 6 years, which felt much nicer in my hand, with a smoother opening and more solid feel to it. I also perfer the CRKT's little knob on the side to open it, instead of the circle, again, to the touch it just feels better. I wish this Spyderco had some of those things, but at the same time I don't doubt its capability and the Spyderco may be the better all-around in the end for its purposes.

I like Spyderco knives. They are high quality, easy to open and close with one hand, and many models are quite affordable. This one is no exception.

The Salt series is designed for use in diving, sailing, etc marine environments. This Pacific Salt model works for all sorts of daily tasks too. At first, it could seem rather large - the serrated blade is close to 4 inches. However, it is very light for its size due to the thin nylon plastic handles. Overall, this is like a rust-proof version of the Spyderco Endura, if you are familiar with that popular model.

Have a look also at the Atlantic Salt model. Its tip is not as sharp, so it would be safer to use as a rescue knife, Its shape makes it less likely to inadvertently stab a person or something else. I personally prefer this Pacific Salt model since its shape is more universally useful.

I love my 3GS PowerSupport screen protector and this version improves upon the design in a simple but important way. Actually, it's not the screen protector itself, but the backing you peel off. They scored the backing so that you can peel away a piece of it right in the center. This makes it so easy to install. Just make sure your screen is free of debris, peel off the middle and lay it on the iPhone. You can line everything up, press down in the middle, hold it in place and then peel off the top and bottom. It's much easier than trying to line up a corner and hoping everything else will line up as you're peeling away. I'm assuming they didn't already make this improvement with the previous version at some point, but this is the first I've seen of it. Aside from that, they make a great screen protector. Had the 3GS for 1.5 years and it performed well. Barely a scratch on the protector and the screen itself is still like new.

I attempted to apply this screen protector very meticulously (in a clean area with bright lighting and a good work surface), but found it quite impossible to put it in place without getting a few dust particles trapped under the screen protector, leaving air bubbles.

The screen protector itself has a nice texture, clarity, and feel, but the result after application is a much less attractive than the iPhone 4 deserves.

At first I could not get the drill bit secured in the chuck, kept coming loose, then I read the instructions. Duh! Just hold the chuck and either reverse the drill or go forward and it 'the chuck' ratchets open or it closes. Once that was figured out it worked great!

I got my JumpDrive Music a few days ago and really enjoy it. Within ten minutes of taking it out of the packaging, I had songs downloaded onto it.

I couldn't find another product similar to this. I wanted a USB jump drive and an mp3 player all-in-one, and all I could find was one without the other. I mainly use the JumpDrive Music while on the treadmill, but I have also found myself needing something quick and easy for transferring large files via sneakernet.

This thing is easy to use and I think the quality is great. I should have bought one of these a long time ago. And the price was great, too.

Drawbacks- The body is wider than most of your other jump drives, so if you have a recessed USB port on your computer, you'll have to use the USB extension cord that comes with it in order to reach it. That's not too bad, but it does take away from the convenience of it.

I give the belt clip issue another vote. I'm planning on looking for maybe a cell phone belt pouch that it will fit in.

Overall, if anything happened to this one and there was nothing new and comparable on the market, I would buy this one again.

I've been happy with my Lexar Media Jumpdrive. As a USB flash drive that will store any files you drop on it, as well as play about 2 hours of audio in MP3 and WMA format.

Transfering music is as easy as plugging it in. It is automatically picked up by the operating system as a removable drive - no drivers, no CD, works on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, you name it.

The case is durable and fits in my hand well, but could be a bit more substancial. Navigation is fairly intuitive with one joystick that controls all functions.

Sound quality is great... I can't complain about the earbud headphones that it comes with. The backlit screen is easy on the eyes and battery life is pretty decent off of 1 AAA battery (included).

Room for improvement: I'd love a belt clip... the lanyard doesn't do much for me when working out.

I was not able to find vinyl shoulder covers in my local store. Amazon has them at an excellent price. They are nicely made, gusseted and 2 inches wide. I have covered all of my suits and blouses. Will save money - I have had to take clothing to the dry cleaners just because of dust on the shoulders. I would prefer heavier gauge vinyl just for the pleasant feel and look - however these are not only functional but also make my closet look organized and attractive.
