There are many uses one could come up with for this item. Though I imagine the most common use is to sift material, which is what I use it for. It is very durable, using fairly thich wire, and being stainless, it doesn't rust. If a person needs a custom size, I believe Small Parts can cut a custom size. I'm thinking of making a vibrating sifter, for which a custom size would be the best solution.

I was deceived by Customer image from 'Daniel Lamprey'.
That image shows a comparison with a penny.
I think that it's #8x8.
I want to get #8x8. but I received #16x16.
Be careful!!
